Happy Hollow Designs® was founded in 1993 by Tamara Carlson as a homebased pattern business. Started in Kansas with only a dream on the Yellow Brick Road, it has become a leader in the quilting & sewing industries. Starting with only a pattern line the company is now a full service design firm. It now boasts numerous lines including OZsome Accents® Accessories, an exclusive line of handmade earthenware buttons and Stain Stitch® Primitive Stitchery. In addition, Happy Hollow Designs® contracts exclusive designs with many other companies in the industry.

The “home-based” business only lasted a very short year and has now become a “country-based” business. Nestled on Yellow Brick Road in Central Kansas the company conducts business all over the world. Tammy, husband Brett and 8 year old son Preston live nearby, being the third generation of family on the treasured family farmstead. Such love of the country life, family and home gives Tammy’s design style the wonderful character that our customers have come to know and love.
